The time has finally come to accept it. The Yankees made the play offs and the Red Sox didn’t. So no more sports books for awhile. I must rid my brain of all thoughts related to sports for as long as it takes.
This is an interesting collection of short stories by Edith Pearlman, written in 2002. Her stories are character driven, the characters are fascinating. The book won the Spokane prize for fiction and is well worth a read.
