Goofy Girl – Seriously

December 11, 2009

I’m not sure what I was thinking with this book.  It looked great.  It got good reviews.  I got a deal on it.  I bought 16 copies!  Well, it didn’t work out so well.  Guess how many copies I still have.  Yup, 16.  So I just lowered the price.  Really, $1.95 now and brand new.  You can get your kid hooked on a cool new series and help get these books off my shelves!

Who doesn’t need a day at the beach under the warm sun?

Buy this book (please, even buy a couple) from me on Amazon.

Love Among the Greats

October 28, 2009

loveThe time has finally come to accept it.  The Yankees made the play offs and the Red Sox didn’t.  So no more sports books for awhile.  I must rid my brain of all thoughts related to sports for as long as it takes.

This is an interesting collection of short stories by Edith Pearlman, written in 2002.  Her stories are character driven, the characters are fascinating.  The book won the Spokane prize for fiction and is well worth a read.

Buy it from me on Ebay!
